The guide has been published annually since 1975. Originally published by Letts, recently the book has been produced by Mirador Books. This year the guide will be published by Butford Technical Publishing Ltd.
The 2008 edition was published in February, priced £8.50. The guide is in full colour, with an extent of 304 pages. The book covers nearly 2000 campsites, more than any other guide currently available, and also provides information on places to eat and nearby tourist sites.
